Our mission is to provide professional services to acquire quality goods and services in the most cost effective, efficient and timely manner while adhering to all applicable procurement legislation for departments of the City & Schools. It is our policy to ensure an open and fair competitive environment for all vendors who wish to do business with the City.

Purchases under $1000 are made by the using department on procurement cards. Written quotations are required for purchases between $1,000 and $10,000. Public notices to obtain bids for goods and services over $10,000 are posted on this site and published in the local newspaper. No bid received after closing time shall be considered. TELEPHONE OR FACSIMILE BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Failure to receive a purchase order (prior to shipment or service delivery) for any goods/services over $1000 may result in the return of the product at vendor’s expense or in non-payment.

Vendor Registration

The City utilizes a vendor maintained registration site that automatically sends solicitation notifications based on selected commodities in the system. You are encouraged to register to receive any future notifications from the City. Use this link to log on and register.

Surplus Property & Auction Sales

Surplus property sales provide the general public an opportunity to obtain a wide variety of general merchandise, vehicles, heavy equipment, etc. Sale promotion is through this site, publication in the local newspaper, on the government access TV channel and on the Internet.


No official or employee of the City shall solicit, accept or agree to accept, directly or indirectly, from any person, firm or corporation to whom any contract may be awarded by rebate, gifts or otherwise, any promise, obligation, or contract for future awards or compensation.
